Reflection
I felt pleased with Latvia, even though I only visited the highly urban capital city. Riga had a good mix of traditional and modern European architecture and aesthetic: Industrial-era bridges and modern libraries coupled with old-style theatres and cobblestone streets.
I saw a few ethnic restaurants that hinted at its march towards globalization but even the capital city of Latvia remained for now, quite Latvian!
