2025 in Germany (Warnemünde + Rostock + Kiel)
3rd visit to Germany : three German towns

On June 22nd and 23rd, the Norwegian Dawn Baltic cruise stopped at two ports in northern Germany:
- Warnemünde (with an option to go to Rostock or Berlin)
- Kiel (a quiet German town close to Denmark)
This made it my:
- 3rd time in Germany
- 1st time in northern Germany
- 1st time in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (Warnemünde)
- 1st time in Schleswig-Holstein (Kiel)
These ports also served as opportunities to buy some daily supplies that were running low, in addition to German chocolate! Germany has useful things at low prices if one knows where to look!
Reflection
It felt great to just relax on the beach and walk around town without any aim. Having already experienced a glimpse of German life in past trips, I did not feel as much pressure to "do local/native things" like in the previous ports.
